“We have been involved with Moylan Care Group for almost 12 months now for my disabled husband who suffered a stroke 4 years ago, first with the OT therapy and then progressed to social and personal care for him. I have previously engaged in other organisations and whilst they provided the initial services they lacked the personable care and interaction with the client that is a vital part of the service. The tailored program for each client takes in light mobility exercises, social outings, domestic duties etc. We never have someone turn up unless we have met them prior and they have spent a day with the usual carer to be trained in the needs and routine of the client. All the staff have been friendly, caring, trustworthy and obliging to both of us at all times. As I also work the carers have the of the routine as if I was there and I couldn’t be happier. “I wanted to advise you that as of Term 2, 2020, I will be returning to my full time position at …… School ….. 5 days per week. It goes without saying that this would not be possible without a wonderful team who care for “B” and his needs. Special thanks to the team of support workers from Moylan Care who do a fabulous job each and every day. “B” is so well cared for; I am confident to return to my former job. “Dear Belinda. John and I would just like to acknowledge the wonderful staff who came to meet us yesterday. Paulene was wonderfully personable and professional. We so appreciated the obvious care that was put into our meeting.  She was very kind, thoughtful and we felt so confident of her skills! I talked her ear off, so I’m sure she went home exhausted! Vanessa was amazing with “H”! She very quickly gained the measure of him, had a wonderful combination of playfulness and helpfully maintaining boundaries for him. Nothing was a bother to her, she came prepared with some well thought through activities, went with “H”’s flow too and read what he needed in the moments and was also not thrown when “H”’s behaviours amped up considerably. Not only that, when he was calming down with a Ben 10 episode, she packed away his toys  and neatened up the back room! Something I just haven’t been able to get to all week! So amazing… such initiative and so above and beyond! So grateful! I had been wrestling with not wanting “H” to feel like we didn’t want to be with him, or trigger his abandonment issues, so it was lovely to hear him say he enjoyed his time with Vanessa. Such a gift to us. It was very clear from the first phone call with Paulene and then from our first meeting that your team is very well chosen and your service provides quality care.
